I can’t stress how important it is that you share this with all your Lebanese friends. I don’t really know what to say. I have already shared my anger and disgust in previous posts (1, 2 and 3) regarding the situation of Migrant Workers in Lebanon.
I urge you all to visit Migrant-Rights.org (in which I’m a contributor), The Migrant Workers Task Force and Ethiopian Suicides. This must stop now.

The lady who comes twice a week to help mom clean our house, her name is Pala, she is idnian, her husband comes and helps her sometimes so that she could finish early.Her voice is so loud and she likes to boss everyone around in Indian.She and mom have developped their own sign language.One time i was home alone with her and the phone rang, she felt so protective that she had to ask me who it was. I answered jeddo and she was happy that i wasnt talking to strangers
